Biography

Leonora Baldelli is an internationally acclaimed  concert pianist with performances all over the world, from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Philarmony of Saint Petersburg, through Europe, Japan, United States of America and South America.
Her career includes concerts as a soloist with the Italian National Army Band and masterclasses and concerts for the  most important Conservatoires and Universities in Buenos Aires and Rosario , Argentina .
She is constantly invited by the Vatican Radio to record concerts, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician, that are broadcasted all over the world.
With a deep knowledge of chamber music repertoire, the greatest soloists of the world wanted her as their piano assistant at the summer academy “Mozarteum” in Salzburg, as well as at New York University and several major festivals and master classes in Italy.
Among the numerous awards she has also achieved the “ Internaional Certificate of Merit” for her diffusion of the Italian Culture abroad given by the “Dante Alighieri Society”and her deep interest for contemporary music resulted  in the achievement of the “American New Music  Consortium Award “for 5 times and  in being a member of the New York University Contemporary Players with extensive tours and recordings all over Europe and Usa.
Her recordings include  CDs with Esther Lamneck (New York University) , Roberto Fabbriciani and actors like Nando Gazzolo, Paola Gassman and Ugo Pagliai and she recorded  and live performed for Rai, Italian national television,Cech television, Hungarian and yugoslavian radio and tv.
Leonora is also very active with the theatre and collaborates  since many years with famous italian actresses like Paola
Gassman and Maria Rosaria Omaggio, and worked also with  Piera degli Esposti, Flavio Bucci, Giuseppe Pambieri,  Nando Gazzolo, Davide Riondino , Pablo Arrabal and with the famous cartoonist Milo Manara.
Always excited to meet all the intersections between various art forms, she is also the creator and performer of crossover projects. She is the winner of First Prize at Loano Prize 2020 with her new cd "Donna Voja e Fronna"
